Silent Suburbs
A downloadable game
Silent Suburbs is a gripping survival horror game set in an abandoned suburb project. In the heart of the Pacific Midwest lies Tranquil Springs, an abandoned suburb shrouded in mystery and whispers of the supernatural. Drawn by a series of eerie sightings reported on a popular "Read-it" blog, you set out to uncover the truth.
Armed with your wits, gear, and a thirst for adventure, you arrive at a nearby motel, ready to delve into the unknown at dawn. With unsettling information weighing on your mind, you retire to your room, determined to uncover the secrets of Tranquil Springs.
You play as a curious video blogger with a passion for exploring haunted places and debunking ghost stories. Your main objective is to uncover the truth behind the mysterious events that led to the abandonment of Tranquil Springs. As you navigate the eerie, unfinished streets, you'll encounter clues, puzzles, and contraptions that reveal the suburb's dark secrets.
However, your survival depends on maintaining your mental health. The unique Paranoia Meter tracks your sanity, and if you wander too long in the shadows without a light source, you risk going paranoid and perishing.
When you ask about "Tranquil Springs" at the motel's front desk, the man sighs and mentions "stupid sightings" and that investors pulled out from the project because many construction workers went missing. The atmosphere of "Silent Suburbs" is one of tranquility tinged with evil, constantly making you question whether you are truly alone. The game's immersive gameplay, atmospheric visuals, and haunting storyline will keep you on the edge of your seat. The music and sound design play a crucial role in creating a sense of thriller horror, making the player feel uncomfortable and heightening the tension.
Will you unravel the mystery of Tranquil Springs, or will you become another lost soul in its dark history?
